Traineeships

 Department for Education

Traineeships is a new programme for young people who want to work, but who need extra help to gain an apprenticeship or job. Traineeships will give these young people the opportunity to develop the skills and workplace experience that employers require.
Traineeships were introduced from August 2013 for 16- to 23-year-olds (and young people with learning difficulty assessments up to academic age 25). Traineeships fit within broader study programmes for 16- to 19-year-olds.

If you are between 19 and 23 years old and are interested in finding out about a Traineeship and how it could help you to get on to an apprenticeship scheme or into employment then ring 0195 758420 or contact us by email at adultlearning@worcestershire.gov.uk
